Publication Ethics 

Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat-PENAMAS is committed to maintaining ethical standards in all stages of publication. The journal follows the principles of academic integrity and the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Authors

  • Must submit original, unpublished work.

  • Must not engage in plagiarism or data manipulation.

  • Must acknowledge all sources properly.

  • Must ensure all listed authors contributed and approved the manuscript.

  • Must disclose any conflicts of interest.

2. Reviewers

  • Must provide fair, objective, and timely reviews.

  • Must treat manuscripts confidentially.

  • Must report any suspected ethical issues.

  • Must declare any conflicts of interest.

3. Editors

  • Make decisions based on academic merit.

  • Ensure a fair and unbiased peer review process.

  • Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts and reviewers.

  • Address ethical concerns, including plagiarism and misconduct.

4. Publisher

  • Supports editorial independence.

  • Ensures ethical guidelines are followed.

  • Works with editors to resolve misconduct cases.

5. Misconduct Handling

Ethical issues such as plagiarism, duplicate publication, or falsification may result in:

  • Rejection or withdrawal of the manuscript

  • Retraction after publication

  • Notification to the authors’ institution (if necessary)
