Author Guidelines-Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat-PENAMAS

1. General Information

  1. Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat-PENAMAS is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original articles resulting from community service activities, community empowerment programs, and the application of appropriate technology aimed at improving societal welfare. The journal welcomes manuscripts that present innovative solutions, measurable impacts, and sustainable contributions to communities through multidisciplinary approaches, including education, health, engineering, social development, economy, environment, and public policy.
  2. Manuscripts submitted to Penamas must be original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  3. All manuscripts will undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process.

2. Manuscript Submission

1.       Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system or via the email address specified on the journal website.

2.       Authors are required to register as contributors before submitting their manuscripts.

Submission must include:

1.       Full manuscript (in MS Word format)

2.       Ethical statement (if applicable)

3.       Supplementary materials (tables, figures, datasets) if required

3.    Ethical Considerations

1.       Community Service involving human participants, animals, or sensitive materials must include an ethics approval statement.

2.       Authors must declare any conflicts of interest.

3.       Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable. Manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software.

4.       Authors are responsible for the accuracy of all data presented.

4.    Publication Process

1.       Initial screening by the editorial board (format, scope, plagiarism check).

2.       Peer review (double blind).

3.       Revision (if required) based on reviewers’ comments.

4.       Final decision by the editor-in-chief.

5.       Proofreading before publication.

5.    Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • Information regarding publication fees, if applicable, will be announced on the journal website.

6.    Copyright and Licence

  • Authors retain copyright of their work.

  • Articles are published under a Creative Commons licence (type adjustable based on journal policy).
